Sound Master Class Vietnam: Founder-Led Training at Soundlight Group, October 2026
ZSOUND founder Zhou Xiaogu and technical director Mr. Peng traveled to Vietnam this October for the Sound Master Class pro audio training series at Soundlight Group — alignment, signal flow, mixing, and live operation, taught on a full ZSOUND system with certificates to prove it.
Vietnam has been on the ZSOUND map for years as a market that loves loud, clean line arrays. This October it joined the training map in earnest. At the showroom of Soundlight Group, ZSOUND’s partner in Vietnam, the Sound Master Class pro audio training series brought together a full room of Vietnamese audio professionals for hands-on study — with ZSOUND founder Zhou Xiaogu and technical director Mr. Peng standing at the front, and a complete ZSOUND demonstration system rigged overhead.
A Training Series, Not a Product Talk
The banner behind the graduates tells you what kind of event this was: a pro audio training series covering system alignment, signal flow, mixing, and live operation — the full chain from input to audience ear, rather than a single-product presentation. Sessions ran in Soundlight Group’s fully equipped showroom, where ZSOUND line arrays hang permanently alongside professional lighting rigs, so every concept taught in the morning could be demonstrated on the real system the same afternoon. Attendees worked at digital consoles set up across the room, following the lectures with their hands on the faders.

ZSOUND founder Zhou Xiaogu lectured in person — the same founder-led format ZSOUND has used since its very first overseas class in Hyderabad in 2015. When the person who designs the systems explains them, the audience gets the reasoning behind the hardware: why the line arrays are configured the way they are, what each product was engineered to solve, and how ZSOUND approaches coverage, power, and tuning in real venues. For the Vietnamese professionals in the room, hearing that philosophy directly — and putting questions to it — turned a training day into a working session with the factory itself.

Technical director Mr. Peng handled the measurement and tuning sessions, projecting transfer functions onto the big screen and walking the class through alignment decisions step by step. Measurement-based tuning has been the backbone of ZSOUND training since 2009 — predict the system, deploy it, verify it with live measurement, and let the data settle every debate. With the ZSOUND demonstration system as the subject and Smaart-style measurement software on screen, attendees watched each adjustment land on the analyzer and heard it land in the room a moment later. That closed loop — see it, hear it, understand it — is exactly what separates a training class from a product demo.

Between lectures, the class split into working groups. Trainees traced signal flow through real hardware, examined interfaces and processors up close, and ran practice passes at the consoles in pairs — the interactive, small-group format ZSOUND adopted in 2016 and has refined across more than 200 classes since. The venue made it easy to stay practical: with line arrays, monitors, and front-end gear all within reach, a question asked in one moment could be tested on the system in the next.

The series closed with a certificate ceremony: a full class of Vietnamese graduates collecting their Certificates of Completion, gift bags from Soundlight Group, ZSOUND, and Mix Light Pro in hand, and the whole cohort photographed beneath the line arrays they had just learned to drive. For Soundlight Group, the payoff is a team and customer community that can specify, deploy, and support ZSOUND systems with confidence. For ZSOUND, Vietnam — long a market for our loudspeakers — is now firmly on the training itinerary, alongside India, Thailand, South Korea, and Mongolia. The 2009 program that started in Chinese classrooms now counts five overseas countries in 2026 alone, and the founder still carries the microphone.
