Sound System for Church: ZSOUND Enhances Worship Experience in Korean Church Event

Set within the sleek, modern architecture of a Seoul-area church, a recent installation project brought together over 500 attendees for a ceremonial gathering where audio clarity and reverence were critical. A total of ten LC12 speakers were precisely suspended to make full use of their 100° horizontal and 10° vertical coverage. This allowed for uniform sound distribution across the wide, modern interior, avoiding the echo and distortion issues that often plague large, reflective spaces. Their coaxial structure—with a 12-inch woofer and 3-inch compression driver—ensured consistent phase alignment and a wide frequency response from 70 Hz to 16 kHz, ideal for delivering clear sermons and warm, textured choir arrangements.

Supporting the system were six LC18S subwoofers, each contributing to a deep, controlled low-end foundation. Their vented, horn-loaded design focused the output of each 18-inch driver to produce powerful bass across the 32 Hz–180 Hz range. In a sound system for modern church architecture, this low-frequency control is crucial, particularly for capturing the richness of pipe organ tones and the resonance of full choir harmonies. Positioned strategically for optimal blending with the LC12s, these subwoofers offered omnidirectional coverage without overwhelming the space.
